You are invited to the Village of Minooka’s Annual Halloween Parade! The celebration will feature school bands, local organizations, church groups, school groups, businesses and residents all in costume passing out literature and candy! The parade begins at the Minooka Elementary School on Coady Drive at Wabena Avenue and will continue south on Wabena Avenue to the Minooka Community High School. To participate in the parade, please submit your halloween parade registration to dawn.niner@minooka.com by 10/11/2024.
Participants will line-up at 11:00 a.m. at the Minooka Elementary School, 400 Coady Street. The parade will then travel south on Wabena Avenue and end at Minooka Community High School. To accommodate the parade the following streets will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Coady Street (West of Wabena Ave. only)
Osceola Street (first block – both sides)
Wabena Avenue (Coady St. south to McEvilly St.)
Mondamin Street (Osceola St. to Wabena Ave.)
Please refrain from parking on the street during these hours. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
